Pretty pricey and the food isn't all that great. I've had better Thai and for half the price, too! I got the duck ($28 - side of jasmine rice & a sauce of your choosing) and was severely disappointed. The portion was surprisingly small, the basil sauce was great, but I believe I made the mistake of ordering the duck to be crispy. I didn't think that crispy was throw the duck breast into a vat of oil. It tasted burnt and the only thing saving it was the sauce. My boyfriend got the salmon teriyaki combo ($29) and that was much better than my dish. The cut of salmon was disappointing but it was still much better than the duck. I would suggest the Eclectic handroll ($5) though. Very savory, just a by too oil for my liking. All in all, Asia Bay is okay. Not that great and not that bad. The employees are welcoming and they tend to you right away which made the experience a bit more pleasant. I would probably return just to try their noodle dishes.

Fresh food and great service from Hernan! You can't go wrong with a combo. Lots of menu options. Everything looked delicious. We will be back for more!

We are Thai obsessed and have been disappointed with all Miami Thai places (exception, Thai House 2 on 163d - best in Florida!) So when we saw a groupon for Asia Bay, we got one and took a drive up for a late dinner. We both loved it! Even though it's along a main road, it's casual/relaxed sitting outside (just go on the late side - after 9ish.) The place was crowded when we sat down but the service was good/everyone was pretty attentive. The inside is cute, not too big though. We ONLY had Thai so can't comment on the sushi/fish etc. All 5 items we got were amazing! Fresh, cooked well, spicy/mild to taste, interesting and unique flavors (not the same old Pad Thai!) All but one portion was well sized - the last one was good, but overpriced for the small amount of food. Most couples would be fine sharing 2 apps and one entree. The prices in general are generally a tad high, though; with a groupon it was a great deal though. (One star off for pricing, although quality costs more - so can't complain too much!) If you see a deal pop up somewhere grab it! The couple next to us was raving about their food too and we chatted with them for a minute, all agreeing it was a wonderful little place. We will definitely be back!

So, let me start with I am not a Sushi Guy. We both went for the Thai Food. The atmosphere is nice, the service is attentive, if a bit awkward. My wife ordered pad Thai. She asked the waiter if the Tofu version had vegetables or she needed to order both vegetables and tofu. He assure her the tofu order had vegetables. When the food came out, it didn't have any veggies just scallions. She told the waiter and he said yes it has vegetables. She looked at him and said, "where?". He came back a minute later asking if she wanted a side of veggies. She told him she just wanted him to know for the next time a customer asked. I had pad se ew. The beef was overcooked, tough and chewy. The sauce was good, the Chinese broccoli very good, and the noodles nicely done. The bottle of Sake we ordered was lukecold and we had to ask for a icebucket, however the sake was good. The place was packed so it seems a lot of people like the place. We went 6 years ago and haven't been back. While not terrible, I will likely not be back. There are too many other really good Asian places close by.

Decent and a bit over priced food. The waitress was just strange. I would just go to the one on Las Olas - better views and much better wait staff

The Thai dishes are definitely better than the sushi.

Food was good. But service was terrible. Waited forever to even get water. Server was very very slow and not very helpful.

  • Taylor R.

Tuna Rock is an absolute must.. Sushi here is way under rated. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because in my opinion their non-sushi food is only okay. If you only go there for sushi than it's five stars all the way!

This place is great! You have to try the Thai tea it's the best in town. Thier sushi is very fresh. We are regulars there. Peter is a great waiter. As soon as he sees us come through the door he attends us and we would not have it any other way. He already knows what we want to order and always has Thai tea for us. Everything Peter recommends is excellent. If you want very good Thai food, excellent service and to have the best Thai tea in town then you definitely have to come here...

A surprisingly impressive experience! I've driven past this place a million times but it took a Groupon to get me in the door. We arrived around 8:30 on Friday night. Bay Harbor Islands was dead, but Asia Bay was still lively! We took a table outside and were given menus and waters immediately. The menu is extensive, and my only complaint is that the font is a little hard to read. We had the tuna rock and the soft shell crab to start. The tuna rock was AMAZING. You have a choice of having it served over white or brown rice or seaweed. Go for the seaweed! The mound of tuna tartare came neatly arranged on top of the seaweed and the plate was drizzled with spicy mayo and soy. It was super fresh and beautiful to look at. The soft shell crabs were crisp on the outside and delicately flaky on the inside. It came with a refreshing side of orange chunks in an orange peel shell and a delicate citrus ponzu sauce. We next shared the pad woon sen, the bean thread noodles. I picked this specifically because I've never had it and it's not widely available. We got it "Asia Bay" style which came with chicken, beef and shrimp, and also had the option to make it spicy, which we did. The dish came with the perfect level of spice and the shrimp were deliciously tender (I didn't eat the chicken or beef). The noodles were thin but not soggy, similar to a mei fun style noodle you find in Chinese restaurants. The dish also had baby corn, bell pepper, mushrooms and scallions. A standout, for sure! The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. The prices are on the high side but the quality and presentation of the food is exquisite and the portions are actually quite large. I will definitely be returning!

Best sushi/Thai place in all of Miami. Tuna rock and Fuji rolls are personal favorites

  • Helena R.

This place used to be my favorite. But something has changed, I can't quite tell what was it, but for the past two times I've eaten there, the fish did not smelled fresh. And this ain't the first time it has happened to me, last year, I had 2 similar experiences with that same issue, which made me not returning for almost a year. And when I finally did, it happened again. It is just a shame.

Visit at least once when vacationing in Miami and miss this place the rest of the year. Best items are on the sushi menu, not thai. Tuna rock is unbelievable. Fuji and crunchy toro both memorable. Tom Ka soup was good but needed a little spice. Like I said one of my favorites. The al fresco option is nice too as the draw is the food not the ambiance.

I was actually very happy dining at Asia Bay in Bay Harbor. Groupon in hand and unaccompanied except for the latest James Patterson novel. Unable to each much these days, I ordered take home containers at the same time I ordered food. Waiter was very pleasant , ambiance was nice,(I sat inside). I thought it odd to have been told to make a reservation (for one) at 5:30 when they opened for dinner and I walked in and was the only person there... but by 6:30 pm the place was almost full...and this was on a Wednesday night. I ordered a small salad with warmed peanut dressing so yummy I took a pint home. Then I ordered The mixed seafood Sunomono which I would have preferred chopped on the bed of shredded cucumber( like at Miyako in So. Miami), but it was served the with large slices of conch, octopus, etc. It had to go back to the kitchen for cutting as neither the butter knife nor my teeth were up for the job. The shrimp Shumai was tasty and I realized I never ordered them before. Then on to the Pascale roll, their own creation which came home in its entirety. All in all, it was a good dining experience, reasonably priced menu and though it's not in my neighborhood, I can easily see my self going back for a good meal when in the upper Miami Beach area.

Hidden gem of Miami. We drive all the way from Brickell Avenue to eat here on the weekends. We dine late when the restaurant is not busy. Great service, great pad thai and delicious tuna rock appetizer. The quality of the sushi is very good - it is one of the better sushi places in the area in terms of price and quality. Recommend trying the manny roll and sashimi salmon. I won't drive far for many restaurants - but the quality and friendly staff make it worth the drive.

This place blows. Asia Bay? Well what the fuck kind of food is it. Asian? What kind of Asian? Shitty Asian. I know it doesn't matter to the locals where their oriental food is from. Even Chinese restaurants in Miami are all serving sushi now. Why don't we just let them call it all Chinese food. They probably think it is anyway. Ah the food. I'd rather eat sweaty Rhinoceros balls than eat their stale fish again. For fuck sake, this is Florida, how can the fish suck so much? _____

Spicy tuna rock is something special and i highly recommend it. We selected it with seaweed and it was fantastic. Interesting sushi rolls that all work. We had the Fuji, Mexican, Eclectic, and Cold Dynamite rolls to share and they all are highly recommended. Service was exceptional and I will definitely return.

Asia Bay is what I would call a comfort food restaurant. It's not the best cuisine in the world and frankly it tries a little too hard to be all things to all people. Never the less, it is a good meal for a reasonable price. Let's just say that it has a very good quality to price ratio. A couple of things to be aware of. The menu is impossibly large and difficult to navigate. Asia Bay could stand to cull it menu down to the best dishes from each of their asian influences. It would simplify their menu, keep their ingredients fresher and stop giving off the impression that they are trying to be the Cheesecake Factory of the Pan-Asian culinary world! Also, the outdoor seating isn't that great. It's too close to the street and can be very loud. Plus, the is no barrier between the sidewalk and the tables so I hope you don't mind people constantly walking through your dinner. That being said, here are a few items that I enjoyed: 1. The Pad Thai is quite good 2. The Red Curry is also consistently good 3. I would stick to the simpler sushi rolls. This isn't the place to be trying anything too exotic 4. The rock tempura shrimp is one of my favourite appetizers 5. They have a pretty decent list of premium cold sakes. I recommend you try one Overall, this is the kind of neighbourhood place you eat at when you are too lazy to cook for yourself. Oh yeah...apparently if you order online they give you a 10% discount on your order. Not bad for an already pretty reasonable meal.

I will definitely go back here. We had a very good food experience. We sat at the bar. Waited a little too long for someone to say hello or give us menus or something. After that, it went well, though. We got a couple of soups that were good. Edamame, perfect consistency and flavor (trust me, many places get this wrong) A few different sushi rolls that were amazing. One of the cooks/chefs in front of us, suggested something new. We said ok. He prepared a "steak roll", yes, made with beef, that was incredible. All the sushi, tuna, shrimp tempura, crab... etc was very fresh and tasty. My man had some Japanese beers that he loved. It's a little expensive but very good quality. It is true that the menu is way too large and overwhelming. You can easily spend 15 minutes going through it. They should just reduce it to the best stuff. I will go back and keep trying other things. Hopefully they'll be as good as on our first visit. This place was a pleasant surprise.

One of our friend idea was to visit Asia Bay. The best sushi restaurant in Miami so far. The quality of the food was excellent. The staff are very friendly and the chef is the best. Highly recommend to everybody.

This place is OK. I sometimes have them deliver. The food is very inconsistent..they can't decide if they're a Japanese restaurant or Thai!.. The thai food here kind of sucks, I would simply stick with the Japanese. it wouldn't be my first or last choice in japanese food.

  • Jackie S.

I wanna like this place but they can't seem to let me. The food rates a very solid "ok" but the prices don't add up. Cheap nori? C'mon guys. Buy decent nori. For a $20 shrimp dish, the shrimp shouldn't be overcooked. It's like high priced fast food. I've been back three or four times, but each time, I think I'd have been better off cooking at home. Thai Basil sauce and massaman curry are both pretty decent (except for the overcooked shrimp). Service is well-intentioned.

The food at Asia Bay is always excellent. The ambiance can be wonderful (if you are lucky enough to visit when there are smaller parties dining) or it can be uncomfortably loud (when there are large groups of teens or pre-south beach partiers dining). I rarely order the Thai, food but the sushi is invariably good. It is always fresh and the pieces of fish are a good size and always flavorful. Their rolls are generous portions, as they should be since, something as simple as a California roll is $7 The service is usually good as well. We usually have the same waitress at our table, she's been there for years, and she is quick with refilling water, taking your order and checking your table. My husband and I have been going to Asia Bay for about 4 years and we have always had at least a good experience, and sometimes it has been excellent. My only complaint is that the prices which were just this side of high to begin with, have been rising steadily, yet the portions remain the same. They are quite stingy with their wine service (the standard 4-5 ounces is the most you'll get, and sometimes you'll receive an even smaller serving), which is slightly annoying when they're charging $7-10 for their least expensive wines. When I order alcohol, I usually go for the split, since they can't stiff me there. The ice cream tempura is also very small for the price, barely enough for one person let alone to share, and at $7, it really should be a large enough size for 2 people to enjoy. Overall it is a good dining experience, and our go-to local sushi restaurant.

I have been going to the Asia Bay on Las Olas for years, but we decided to try this one because it is a bit closer. We were extremely disappointed! The service was extremely lousy. The management was poor; it was understaffed. The sushi wasn't as fresh nor as fantastic as the sushi at the Las Olas location. I always order the green curry; while it was good here, the green curry is Delicious at Las Olas. At the Las Olas location, they ask how spicy you would like your curry. Here, we had no options, and there was absolutely no heat. At this location brown rice costs extra; at the Las Olas location, this is not the case, and at the Las Olas location, they will give you a heaping to-go container full of rice to-go with your leftovers. At the Bal Harbor location, as you can probably guess, they did not. The portions at the Bal Harbor location were disappointingly smaller as well. In short, I highly recommend driving a bit further north to the Las Olas location; you will not regret that decision.

Very decent sushi, good service. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would - this restaurant doesn't lack much. Nice minimalist interior, but if you sit at the tables outside, the cars zooming by are distracting (not to mention the fumes!). The food is great - their speciality roll is the Lobster roll - make sure to have it, it is remarkable!!! Prices are very fair :)

couple of local friends took us here for dinner. it was amazing. my wife and I eat sushi a lot..and also loved the thai food. the place was busy for mid week. very clean as well. service was great we had spicy tuna rocx2, fuji roll, few other specialty rolls and some pad thai.....bottle of wine....all for $165....with tip it come out to $200 for 4 people the food was amazing, very tasty. in addition, my friends dont eat sea food so we only had fish dishes but i am sure with shrimps, lobster, crab etc it only gets better!!! check it out.....i think they also have a place in ft lauderdale if you are in that area..... * * * * *

I really love this place. We live a few blocks away and often order delivery or take-out. We have been inside a few times, too (we're just lazy ;) and though the actual place is small in size, it's very nice and stylish. I frankly love the food, hence why we order it when we don't feel like cooking every other week. We usually order the same things on the menu - panang curry, masaman curry, shrimp in the blanket and fuji roll (which is delicious, like a california roll with a spicy tuna salad on top). I've always found the service/servers to be pleasant (then again, they know us by now :) but they have been since we first discovered this place. Location wise, it's in the charming neighborhood of Bay Harbor Islands and when it's not too hot outside, it's got nice outdoor seating for people watching. Sushi chefs are behind a counter visible to all so you can watch them make your sushi. We always recommend to our friends and it's just become our little neighborhood "go-to".

Asia Bay has The Best sushi in Miami! I just love to dine there because the dishes are well-sized portions and the fish is fresh. The Shrimp and Japanese mushroom tempura salad is the best dish ever! Also, the basil red snapper and the Hawaian duck is delicious!!!! This is a 5-star sushi place, it's inexpensive, the fish is fresh and first quality, the rolls are big, and the sauces are homemade, the desserts are to die for. The service is great and very friendly and they serve the food quickly!!!

I was a huge fan of the original when I lived in FLL and knew it would be hard for this location to live up to the original. I am an amateur pad Thai snob and just had their lunch special, Thai spicy. Food was excellent, appropriately spicy, tons of food (I'm a big guy and more than I could eat for lunch) Server was polite (Mabel). My only complaints would be a little more peanut/egg/chicken to noodle ratio, but it was a lunch special and I think I got good value overall for an 11$ pad Thai. I Will go back and try the red curry but again I doubt it will live up to the original!

Best sushi I've had in a really long time. The hamachi miso appetizer was sweet and delicious. The crunchy toro and the Fuji rolls were an excellent blend of flavors. If give it a five but it was a bit pricey.

I go to Asia Bay for their Thai food. I have never tried their Sushi. I am picky about Thai food. Asia Bay is very good. The last time I was there I had the pad Thai with fried tofu. I enjoyed it. My mom had the panang curry, and she said it was delicious. Their servings can be a little on the small side, depending on what you order. A small serving of extra rice costs $2.50. I think that's a lot for rice.

I wish I was able to give it a negative star. I thought for this business being located in the Bal Harbor area that the dinning experience was going to be good but it wasn't . I ordered the Tuna Rock roll due to the reviews and let me tell you the tuna smelled not fresh. I could not bare to even taste it. The chicken pad thai I wasn't impressed the noodles were dry and over cooked. Never again!

Kicking my ass that it took me this long to visit Asia Bay. The service is fantastic & so far everything that I have tried on the menu has been delicious. The Crab Rangoon is one of the best I have had here in Miami. The Tuna Rock appetizer is a MUST TRY & let me see how I can say this..... THEY HAVE TORO!!! YES!! THE VERY ELUSIVE, DECADENT TUNA BELLY IS AVAILABLE AT THIS RESTAURANT. IN A COUPLE OF ROLLS & ALSO AS SASHIMI. Ok.. I feel better. ~P.

Very good sushi and Thai food. The Tuna Rock appetizer was quite delicious and the sushi rolls were very interesting and also delicious. Our server was attentive and the restaurant appeared well cared for. The prices seemed a bit high but we don't typically dine in Miami so they may be average for the area. The chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream was a hit with the entire table. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

The special Asia bay dish was not worth the 25 dollar cost and the roll sizes were small, considering the prices. Service was Ok and location was really nice. We also only had 2 pieces of shrimp in our "special."

  • Alexandra J.

Love their food! From their sushi to their Thai food. I usually order the red curry chicken but I'm in love with the different kids of sushi they offer. Sushi always taste great and fresh. I love going there for lunch, however place is small so does get pretty busy in there. I defiantly enjoy the food but not so much customer service, it's not bad I just feel as they can do better. The waitress is not as inviting, and sometimes will rush you to put the order in. But other than that food is great.

We walked in for a late lunch this week and we were greeted and sat right away. We live right around the corner, so the location is very convenient for us. We ordered from the lunch special menu, as it was right in front of us, not noticing the regular menu until we had already ordered. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our meal and were pleased to have finally tried Asia Bay. However, when trying to use the Groupon that brought us in, we were told we ordered from the wrong menu. The server was very apologetic and we realize that it was our mistake as we didn't see the fine print about lunch specials, but we were upset about spending $22 on a Groupon we couldn't use and then paying another $60 on top of that. I think either the restaurant or Groupon should make that detail clearer on the voucher (not in fine print). All I kept reading was "weekdays only" in bold, not realizing we were limited on what we could order. Anyhow, we were pleased with the service and happy with most of our food. My husband enjoyed the pad Thai and I thought the sushi was fresh and well structured. Sadly, the thai iced tea was too sweet with weak tea, the spring roll was not fresh tasting and our son's chicken tempura was bland and dry. Something else that frustrated us is they do not have a children's menu. $11+ for a 5 year old, plus a $3 lemonade is just too much in our opinion. I personally would not recommend this place for families with young children. My husband and I will try to return for a lunch date to properly use our Groupon before it expires...

I've eaten at this restaurant between 70 & 100 times, usually during lunch hours. They have a good selection of Japanese & Thai food, but my aborted attempt to eat there on the evening of December 27,2014 marks the end of my ever doing business with them. Service during lunch hours is at least civil, but never friendly, but the quality of the food is not an issue. As a Japanese & Thai restaurant, their food is of mid-level quality. There are similar restaurants with better food, and some with worse food. But, be cautioned that service at dinner time can range from rude to non-existent. If you are a person who dines by himself, be cautioned that during dinner hours, the staff will either refuse to give you a table(even if there are tables available which don't have a "reserved" sign on them), or the staff will be surly, and issue an ultimatum about how long you have to finish the food. I'm not going to pay 50% more(at night) for the same portion size, and be treated abusively by servers who are clearly acting under orders(from management) to make solo diners as unwelcome as possible. I had walked around the nearby town of Surfside on this Saturday night and was unable to find any restaurant to eat at, except Subway. Some restaurants were closed, and at others there was no chance of getting a seat. On one previous occasion when I made a last minute decision to try to eat at Asia Bay at night , a server(having a conversation with a cluster of customers) was blocking the entrance. Even after he saw me, I had to ASK him to get out of the way, so that I could enter. I asked him where I could sit, and he told me to "sit anywhere", so I did. Soon, a server(who recognized me from my many visits to Asia Bay) told me, "If you sit at that table, you've got 20 minutes to eat". This ultimatum was issued before I had even been given a menu. I moved to a different table, but clearly, the server was in a hurry to get rid of me. Don't treat me like a bum! Tonight, though there were two empty tables inside this restaurant(one of which didn't have a "reserved" sign on it), the server refused to let me have that non-reserved table. He said "that table is for 4 people". Funny, it's the table where I almost always sit during lunchtime visits. I was told that he would only seat me if I sat outdoors, where the tables appeared to not be cleaned. It was a cloudy night, and I'm not going to sit outdoors to possibly be rained on. South Florida doesn't have winter weather, and so eating outdoors would often involve sweating. I don't want to sweat while I eat. This surly server who refused to seat me tried to drown out my speech, so I pointed at him and said, "Look pal: I know what you guys do here at night. You won't seat one person." Someone has to tell this surly S.O.B. that a table with one diner brings in more money than an empty table. I went next door to "Betto's", an Italian restaurant, and got good food and service. For Asia Bay to treat badly a person that they are fully aware has been a long-term repeat customer is simply unacceptable. If you want Japanese food in this neighborhood, go to "Sushi Republic" in Surfside. I would have eaten there, except that it was abnormally crowded, and I was hungry. I should also note, that after I finished eating at Betto's, I passed by Asia Bay. They had seated a party of three at the table that they had refused to let me have. Yes, for one hour, their decision to snub me made that table more profitable, but now they'll pay the price: my boycott of their restaurant (the loss of my approximately 20 lunchtime visits per year) will cost Asia Bay $700 each year. I hope that the management and that surly server are happy now.

I am a local and have been eating at this restaurant since it opened and always loved it, but the last few times have been just mediocre. The chicken in the fried rice I ordered tasted rubbery and old, and they didn't even offer to remove it from the bill?? Although I am not sure, it seems as though the restaurant may have changed owners because something is just not the same. Thank goodness Sushi Republic is right down the street and much more affordable!

Only reviewing for take out but it's been 3 times in 2 weeks! I like it and their food is very fresh. Overall we had the spring rolls, house salad, sushi party for one, salmon skewers, and sashimi mori. All the food is good, the sashimis are very fresh, the miso soup is good too. The prices are a little high ($25 for sushi for one, $25 for sashimi mori) but you have very good quality fish. They are so busy on some nights that they can refuse take out. I love it each time I ordered!

I have to preface this by saying how much I LOVE sushi. Unfortunately for me, my significant other is severely allergic to seafood and this limits my ability to enjoy sushi more often. We went to the Asia Bay near Bal Harbor because we were invited there by a relative and let me just say it was amazing. Their dragon roll is incredible and my fiancé had the vegetable roll. The vegetable roll was great also, we usually can't find a good vegetable roll and I'm just glad she was able to enjoy it. The service was not great, and that's why this review was not 5 stars.

Ate here last night and it was pretty busy so we sat by the Sushi bar where we can see chefs preparing the sushi items. We started with miso soup and it tasted good but it was served luke warm. We prefer our soups piping hot so we were kinda expecting the worse about to come but we were wrong. First came Crunchy Toro, wow, delicious! Then came our Dragon roll & Crazy roll...both amazing! The Crazy Roll made up for the miso soup :) Service was also pleasant! Street parking was free..i think after 6 or 7 in that area. We are coming back to try to Tuna Rock & Seafood deluxe. If the soup was served hot, I would've given this place 5 stars.

We stumbled upon this place because it was near our next stop. So glad we did! The good was great and the service was amazing. Left with a full belly and a smile. Everything was clean and pretty. We'll be going back!

I enjoy their Thai food. I've never tried their sushi, although I've seen other people eating it, and it looks good. I like the panang, masaman, and the pad Thai. Their fried rice is great also. The service is usually good. The tip is already on your bill. Check out Groupon. They have special discounts for Asia Bay all the time.

I had heard about Asia Bay Thai Cuisine & Sushi Bar a while ago and rave reviews on their fabulous Spicy Tuna Rock so it was always on my list of places to check out. I mean, if Alec Baldwin says its good then it must be good, right? My intention was to dine in but it was late and I was dead tired but still hungry so I decided to still go to Asia Bay but order takeout instead. Although it was not a weekend and pretty late, the restaurant was jam packed. That made me feel a little bit better about doing takeout instead of dining in since there might have been a wait. The vibe inside the restaurant was energetic, you can tell that this is a fairly popular spot and people enjoy dining here. When I arrived my food wasn't ready so there was a little bit of a wait but I can't really fault them since I called when I was already on my way over there. Finally, with food in hand, I was excited to get home and chow down. Since I decided to do takeout, I figured my best choice would be to order sushi since it had the greatest likelihood of tasting the same once I got home. I ordered the Mexican Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Toro Crunchy Roll and the Tuna Rock Roll. OMG was it good!!! It could be the delirium from my hunger, but it really was very good. My favorite was the Toro Crunchy Roll and being the most expensive it was best that it was otherwise I would have been real disappointed paying so much. Overall, the food was really good; I was a satisfied customer. I definitely want to go back and try the Tuna Rock appetizer. Also, since I missed out on the dining experience this time, I am looking forward to going to the Fort Lauderdale location that is closer to home.

This place is solid. Nothing was bad, but nothing blew my mind either.

We ate here last Saturday night for my Birthday. Love it. We usually get the party for one, share it and get a couple more rolls. Party for one is California roll, selected pieces of the freshest sushi, plus sashimi. The spicy tuna roll has big chunks of tuna. The beauty and the beast roll was good but I prefer the one item rolls where you can appreciate the taste. My kids (from Scottsdale, Az) also say the Thai items are awesome. Order extra ginger dressing for the salad - you can drink it. Make sure you get a Sake-tini w/the lychee nut. Mmm!

We love this place! Every time I come to town we go. We love the wonton soup, salad, gyoza, and crab ragoons! Everything is fresh and delish!

I've had worse sushi at buffets... Other than that not much good I can say. The rice is too mushy... Ruins the rest of the sushi.

I don't know what possessed me to purchase another Groupon for Asia Bay. I forgot how sub par the food is. The fact you don't see a single Asian person in there (working or dining) is a dead give away. The menu is overpriced compared to other Thai/ Japanese restaurants. Age Tofu appetizer elsewhere is around $4, here they charge $7 and it's not that good. Pad Woon Sen was okay but should have had more sauce and flavor. My crunchy toro sushi roll was this unappetizing gray color. I asked for light rice and what I got was a roll that was ALL rice, topped with small dices of toro and mostly tempura flakes. The fact they chopped the toro into small pieces didn't conceal it's poor quality. Charging $19 for this concoction is an insult. By the way, they charge $27 for a lobster roll, which other places sell for $20. I bet it sucks too. Finally, careful when you get your check. They overcharged us on the tofu by $1.00. It's chump change but shady s*&t like this aggravates me. Save your money.

This place is fantastic. I went tonight with my wife and kids. We had miso soups, split 5 rolls and the sea bass with ginger sauce. All were delicious. All while relaxing outside enjoying the fresh air. We couldn't be happier.

All I'm saying is,that that's not one of my dream meals. This was what I waited an hour for...not exactly what I expected. Food is abundant yet not very good. Do not, under any circumstance order the volcano roll. I returned the plate after only one byte!!! They did not even ask why! No apologies or interest from the staff. Poor service.

I love the food here. I live 2 blocks away and have been dining here since the doors first opened. Yummy sushi. Tasty curry. Updated menu as of about a year ago. Great $10 lunches. A great local place, always a good crowd when other places are empty. The servers are good but need a bit of panache. Nonetheless I will return forever!!

What a hidden little surprise! I was in search of some Asian comfort food this night & I found it. The wait staff was so helpful. They even went out of their way to find us a tiny flashlight (that we didn't ask for) so we could read the menu. The price was right for me on this night and food was much better than expected. I know that I can be a critical little Yelper, but not tonight. The two rolls and the noodle dish to the table, came out quickly. We yummed it up with smiles. I did not try any sushi, so that will be a test for another day. Gladly, I will return again, when in the area.
